Rev. Ing. Dr. Samuel Frempong Kwofie is a retired Power Systems Engineer. He served as Director of the West Africa Power Pool (WAPP) Projects and Southern Network Services; Director of Engineering, Director of Northern Network Services and an Area Manager of the Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo). He also worked with the Volta River Authority (VRA) as a Station Manager, Maintenance Manager and a Lead Control and Instrumentation Engineer. He was a Senior Protection and Control Engineer and a Protection and Control Engineer for VRA. Rev. Ing. Dr. Kwofie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in  Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Commonwealth Executive MBA from KNUST, a Master of Applied Business Research as well as a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the SBS Swiss Business School / NIBS.  He is a Member of Ghana Institution of Engineering and a Circuit Minister of the Methodist Church Ghana.
