Mr. Addo is an Economist with several years of experience in the regulation of Utility Service provision in Ghana. He holds a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Economics with emphasis on Regulation and Competition from the City University of London and a Bachelor of Arts (BA, Hons.) degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon. 

Robert is 
an electricity and water utility tariff expert who has contributed significantly to the regulatory landscape in Ghana, having worked with the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) for close to two decades. Prior to assuming this position, he was the Principal Manager - Regulatory Economics at the PURC, after rising through the ranks from an officer level within the Commission.

Prior to joining the PURC, Robert worked with Ghana Water Limited as a Water Works System Operator, where he gained valuable insights into the operational issues of the organisation. He has been involved in several training programs and seminars, which relate to energy and water sectors, and made significant contributions to the growth of both sectors in Ghana.
