PURC DONATES TO THE GREATER ACCRA REGIONAL HOSPITAL, RIDGE

The Public Utilities Regulatory Commission, as part of its effort to support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, has donated GHS 20,000 to the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (GARH) on May 8, 2020. This is to help the hospital acquire equipment and protective gear needed for their operations. The Medical Director of the GARH, Dr. Emmanuel K. Srofenyoh, received the donation for the hospital.

The GARH is currently one of the first Holding and Treating Centers for the confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the country. The Commission believes that this donation will go a long way to help the Hospital to manage their cases and staff.
